”I was born in a little town called Mamou, Louisiana, which is the Cajun Mardi Gras capital, but I grew up down the road from there in Eunice, Louisiana. After graduating from high school, I attended LSU. Soon afterwards, I moved to Lafayette where I completed my degree in Dietetics at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I was accepted to the dietetic program in Hammond at North Oaks Medical Center (NOMC) in June of 2012, and graduated in June 2013. I became a registered dietician in 2015.
I was a renal dietitian for over a year in Gulf Shores, Foley, Atmore, and Pensacola. I am also an NASM certified personal trainer with a fitness nutritional specialist and have held a corrective exercise specialist credential for 10 years.
I have a passion for life and health. I love the mountains in the wintertime because snowboarding is one of my absolute favorite outdoor activities! I enjoy cooking and EATING, as well as riding bikes and going to the beach whenever possible. I think keeping it simple is just as relaxing, whether it’s having a cup of coffee at a coffee shop with a book, or watching a movie with my wife (Gulf Shores native, born and raised!)
Fun fact: I have actually had the opportunity to deliver a baby!! 🏼
I’m looking forward to the opportunity of helping as many people as possible to be able to reach their nutritional/health goals through nutritional counseling and using true functional health concepts. I believe health is more than what you put into your body, it’s your environment, what you put on your body, as well as the quality of air that we breathe.
