Hi, my name is Sheryl Mitchell, I was born & raised in Muskegon, Michigan where I worked as a nurse in a pediatrician’s office for 22 years. I moved to Orange Beach in August 2007 and was hired at Gulf Coast Family Chiropractic in January 2016. My job title is ‘Chiropractic Technician’ which suits me perfectly. I have the pleasure of assisting Dr Alicia by teaching and interacting with all the wonderful patients. The best perk of my job is getting hugs from the children and holding all the babies!

I have a strong faith and thank God for blessing me with a loving family. I have 2 sons, Nick who lives in South Carolina and Ryan who lives in Georgia with my daughter-in-law Erin and their beautiful daughter Kate, who is the apple of my eye. The rest of my family are in Michigan.

Recently I’ve taken up CrossFit, enjoy boating, walks on the beach, travelling when I can (which I hope to do more of in the future). By the way, I love Starbucks!

Fun fact – I lived aboard a 52 foot catamaran sailboat for 2 months. We left Orange Beach and sailed to the Bahamas down through the ragged islands and back. It was quite an adventure.
