Admin Assistant

I have worn many hats in my life from entrepreneurship, education, health and wellness, mental health, community services to human rights for the intellectually disabled. I spent 25 years creating programming for and providing services to individuals and families with disabilities, ensuring that each was treated with respect and have the care and opportunities to actively participate in their communities. I am proud to currently serve on the Board of Directors at Foley Public Library where I co-manage the Library Bookstore and was recently appointed to the board of the Gulf Coast Exceptional Foundation in Daphne. Alabama. I previously served as Vice-President on the Board of Directors for Options for Independence and am dedicated to person centered services and opportunities for all individuals. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University as well as a Masters of Humanities. I have served as a Grief Counselor for Hospice as well as a Community Educator and Faculty Member for the Alzheimer’s.

I currently live in Foley, Alabama with my husband, Jerry and daughter, Sheree. When I’m not volunteering, I enjoy cooking and travelling.

I am happy to be able to volunteer at GCFC and use my skills to help this fantastic team of health advocates. I am grateful for the care and education we receive here to express wellness in every area of our lives.
